NPL Teen Advisory Board

Our meetings are once a month
from 3:30 to 4:45 at the Norwalk Library.
Our next meeting is on Sept. 18, 2008 at 3:30 PM, please join us for some fun,
food and earn community service credit, too.

What do we do?
☺ We hosted a Halloween party for 5 to 7 year olds.
☺ We helped choose the area that has been turned
into a Teen Center
within the library.
☺ We helped clear this space in preparation
for remodeling.
☺ We had a silent auction fund raiser to help furnish
the Teen Center.
☺ We helped design the layout of the Teen
Center.
☺ We
designed a My Space website for the library.
☺ We worked setting up for the NPL Friends book
sale.
☺ We help the librarians select books, cd's,
movies, and programming
for teen patrons.
☺ We have all 'adopted' shelves in the library that
we keep organized.
